Giving Opportunities for Donors   Financial contributions of all sizes may be designated to any program, service, or need at Mount Saint Vincent. If you have a special interest, or questions about funding opportunities, please contact the executive director, (303) 458-7220 ext. 226.


The following items are particular needs that we have at this time. Please consider designating your contribution to:

  • Mount Saint Vincent's Summer Programs
    Mount Saint Vincent's summer school provides academic and recreational activities for children in the residential and day treatment programs enabling them to continue adademic and therapeutic progress during a summer program focusing on literacy and outdoor activity.

    Scholarships of $250 are sought for the children

Colorado Child Care Tax Credit   Don't forget that your cash contributions to Mount Saint Vincent qualify you for a 50% Colorado State Income Tax credit in addition to the regular state and federal income tax deductions. Please note "child care" with your regular designation on the memo line of your check for the full percentage. Check with your tax advisor and/or Colorado Department of Revenue FYI Income 35 Child Care Contribution Credit (Rev. 9/04). Contributing Money   Financial donations are always welcome. Mount Saint Vincent needs to raise about $1.5 million each fiscal year for operating and capital projects in order to supplement fees for services and provide care needed. Your financial support would be greatly appreciated. There are a variety of ways to contribute.

  • Contributions may be designated to any of the programs or services at Mount Saint Vincent. For example:
    • Residential Care
    • Day Treatment
    • Emergency Shelter
    • Respite Care
    • Therapeutic Preschool
    • Day Care
    • S. Daniel Stefani School
    • Outpatient Therapy
    • Recreational Therapy
    • Art or Music Classes
    • Children's Field Trips and Activities
  • Contributions may be designated to the architectural program of ongoing renovation and construction on the Mount Saint Vincent campus -or to any building project, work aspect, or portion, of any project
  • Checks should be made payable to Mount Saint Vincent and mailed to 4159 Lowell Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80211.

Vehicle Donation   Mount Saint Vincent benefits from the donation of vehicles to the nonprofit organization, Cars Helping Charities. It is an easy process. You call Cars Helping Charities (303) 423-2277 and tell them that you wish to donate a vehicle to benefit Mount Saint Vincent. Cars Helping Charities sends a tow truck to pick up your vehicle and arrange for its prompt sale. If your car is valued at $500 or less, you will be able to deduct the fair market value on your taxes. Otherwise, Cars Helping Charities will provide you with a receipt indicating the gross amount that the car sold for and that is the amount you will be able to claim as a tax deduction. Mount Saint Vincent will also send you a confirmation that we have received a check from Cars Helping Charities for 50% of the gross amount, less the towing cost.

Contributing Goods and Services. There are a number of ongoing needs requested by child care staff. There are also a number of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups.
