Golf Tournament Nets $45k

DENVER, Colo., July 18, 2018 – Mount Saint Vincent, a leading provider of clinical treatment for children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges due to trauma, mental illness, abuse or neglect, announced it raised $45,000 at its 12th annual “Play a Round for Kids” charity golf tournament. The event was held Monday, June 18, 2018, at the semiprivate Omni Interlocken Golf Club in Broomfield, Colorado.

CoBank was the presenting sponsor. The tournament was supported by 21 other individual and corporate sponsors. The funds raised will be used for the care and clinical treatment of children aged five to 12 who receive treatment at Mount Saint Vincent.

“It’s a great golf course,” said tournament participant Craig Dahl, “and even better, it’s all for such a great cause.”

“We’re grateful to have had a 20 percent increase in the number of tournament players this year,” said Mount Saint Vincent Director of Development Cindy Liverance. “Together, we’ll be able to serve even more children in need of clinical treatment and nurturing care.”

The date and location of the 2019 tournament will be announced in September of 2018.
