DENVER, Colo., June 25, 2015 – Mount Saint Vincent, a leading provider of clinical treatment for children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges due to mental illness, trauma, abuse or neglect, announced it raised more than $60,000 at its ninth annual “Play a Round for Kids” charity golf tournament. The event, held Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Rock, Colorado, drew 132 participants. The tournament was supported by 22 individual and corporate sponsors. The funds raised will be used for the care and clinical treatment of the children aged five to 12 who are in treatment at Mount Saint Vincent.
“I always have a great time at this event,” said four-time tournament participant Dan Hines. “It’s great to help out the kids, and I look forward to playing every year.”
“We’re so grateful to all the people and organizations that support our work with the children,” said Mount Saint Vincent Director of Development Kay Mcdowell. “We are blessed to have such a wide network of supporters who consistently offer us generous support.”
Next year’s tournament will be held in June at a to-be-announced date and location.
