DENVER, Colo., September 4, 2014 – Mount Saint Vincent, a leading treatment provider for children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges due to trauma, mental illness, abuse or neglect, announced it has hired Alysha Quinn, MSW, as its intake coordinator. She will oversee the child intake process for the agency’s residential and day treatment programs.
Quinn has more than seven years of experience in the human services field, including managing a crisis center hotline, providing case management for women’s shelters, and providing in-home therapy for at-risk children and their families. She also performed outpatient therapy at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
“My goal is to help children find a placement where they can succeed, and Mount Saint Vincent is well known for providing high quality services,” said Quinn. “I’m also eager to learn more about trauma-informed care and how Mount Saint Vincent uses this approach to meet children’s needs.”
Quinn holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in social work in from the University of Denver.
