“Play a Round for Kids” Golf Tournament Raises More Than $55,000


DENVER, Colo., June 22, 2017 – Mount Saint Vincent, a leading provider of clinical treatment for children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges due to trauma, mental illness, abuse or neglect, announced it raised more than $55,000 at its eleventh annual “Play a Round for Kids” charity golf tournament. The event was held Monday, June 19, 2017, at the semiprivate Omni Interlocken Golf Club in Broomfield, Colorado. CoBank was the course sponsor. The tournament was supported by 17 other individual and corporate sponsors. The funds raised will be used for the care and clinical treatment of the children aged five to 12 who receive treatment at Mount Saint Vincent.

“It’s hard to imagine a more perfect day,” said tournament participant Steve Bye, “and it’s all for such a great cause.”
“We’re grateful for all the players and event sponsors who came out to support this effort,” said Mount Saint Vincent Director of Development Kay Mcdowell. “We are blessed to have such a wide network of individuals who consistently offer us generous support.”
