Mount Saint Vincent Hires Intake Coordinator
Mount Saint Vincent has hired Alysha Quinn, MSW, as its intake coordinator. She will oversee the child intake process for the agency’s residential and day treatment programs.
Quinn has more than seven years of experience in the human services field, including managing a crisis center hotline, providing case management for women’s shelters, and facilitating in-home therapy for at-risk children and their families. She also provided outpatient therapy at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
“My goal is to help children find a placement where they can succeed, and Mount Saint Vincent is well known for providing high quality services,” said Quinn. “I am also eager to learn more about trauma-informed care and how Mount Saint Vincent uses this approach to meet children’s needs.”
Quinn holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in social work in from the University of Denver.
What was the first job you ever had?
My first job was working as a server at a Mexican restaurant called Tijuana Flats.
What will your coworkers be surprised to learn about you?
I enjoy all kinds of crafts. Last month learned to crochet by watching YouTube videos.
What’s the nicest compliment you ever received?
I once got a promotion and commented on how lucky I was. My supervisor said, “It’s not luck. You worked hard and you deserve it.”
